Let there be light

This piece is a homage, imagining a sacred subject through the lens of one of my favorite masters. The technique is pure digital impasto, designed to emulate the thick, physical layers of oil paint and the distinct, energetic brushstrokes of Post-Impressionism. I focused heavily on color contrast—the warm, radiating light of the halo against the cool, turbulent blues of the sky, and the deep, rich red of the robe against the varied greens of the landscape. Every stroke is intentional, building a senseof movement and divine energy that radiates from the central figure.
