This painting was crafted with traditional oil using thick impasto brushwork and dry brushing techniques to highlight rich textures and reveal lower pigment layers. The coarse canvas gives a tactile surface where earth tones and soft oranges meet vibrant RGB accents. Bold outlines and expressive strokes intentionally reject smooth transitions, focusing instead on visual rhythm, movement, and the natural imperfections that mimic real landscapes. Light was layered to create luminous warmth radiating from behind the Yoshino Cherry’s branches.
